James Watt and Martin Dickie decided they were fed up with the stuffy UK beer market… so, aged just 24, they decided to do something about it. Thanks to some scary bank loans, the guys start making their hardcore craft beers in Fraserburgh, a town in northeast Scotland.

BrewDog is now a very well-respected craft beer brand. It has gained popularity for its innovative approach to brewing and its vast selection of craft beers. Recently, BrewDog expanded its presence by opening a new bar at Belfast Grand Central Station in Northern Ireland. This opening marks BrewDog’s first venue in Northern Ireland.

The new BrewDog bar is on the mezzanine level of the newly constructed Belfast Grand Central Station. It offers BrewDog’s signature craft beers, cocktails from BrewDog Distilling Co, and a selection of wines and other spirits. Additionally, the bar features an extensive all-day food menu that includes breakfast items, burgers, wings, and salads.

This development is part of a partnership with SSP, an operator of food and beverage outlets at travel locations.

The opening is an exciting addition to Belfast’s vibrant hospitality scene and signifies BrewDog’s continued global expansion.

The Belfast Grand Central Station is a significant transport hub, making the new BrewDog bar a convenient spot for travellers and locals to enjoy a refreshing brew and meal.

I attended on the opening day and found the bar vibrant, comfortable, and of exceptional value. The food was well-cooked and beautifully presented.

This is one Belfast bar that is sure to succeed.
