Vietnam Airlines has announced its summer 2025 and winter 2025-26 schedules from London Heathrow. The APEX five-star-rated airline will operate three nonstop flights per week to Hanoi and two per week to Ho Chi Minh City from 28 April, before returning to daily flight frequencies from 26 October 2025 – all on next-gen Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners. The national flag carrier will also launch nonstop flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Denpasar Bali in June; and a new thrice-weekly service from Milan to Hanoi in July; further increasing connectivity from Europe to Vietnam and beyond.

Vietnam Airlines offers the UK’s only nonstop flights to Vietnam, operating from Heathrow Terminal 4. Outbound flights from London Heathrow are carefully scheduled to offer convenient overnight journeys, with onward connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to multiple destinations throughout Vietnam, Asia, and Australasia, including Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

From 1 June 2025, Vietnam Airlines will operate four weekly Airbus A321 flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Denpasar Bali, rising to seven flights per week in July 2025. This new route will be Vietnam Airlines’ second direct connection between Vietnam and Indonesia, bringing the total number of weekly flights between the two countries to 14.

In July, Vietnam Airlines will become the first and only airline in Vietnam to offer nonstop services to Italy with the launch of its three-weekly Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights between Hanoi and Milan – bringing the airline’s total number of European routes to nine. Vietnam Airlines has also outlined plans to introduce the Ho Chi Minh City to Milan route.
