Tim Hortons®, the iconic Canadian restaurant has today revealed it will officially open the doors to its brand-new drive-thru restaurant at The Kennedy Centre, in West Belfast on 12th December. As the eleventh Tim Hortons to open in Northern Ireland, the brand is already well-loved and will offer even more fans and first-timers the chance to get their hands on its signature coffee, delicious donuts and a tasty selection of meals when doors open at 7am.
To mark this milestone, the first fan in the drive-thru and restaurant queue will be awarded with free drinks for a whole year* (a prize worth a staggering £3,100). Additionally, for the first 100 customers, Tim Hortons will give away a free breakfast meal.
Fans can get their Tim Hortons® treats morning, noon, and night, with the restaurant open from 6am till midnight, seven days a week. Guests can enjoy a traditional dine-in experience, take out or drive-thru for those on the go, or have their meals delivered via selected delivery partners. The menu will feature fan favourites including Timbits®, Iced Capps, Freshly Baked Donuts and the Tims® Crispy Chicken Sandwich, as well as delicious breakfast, lunch and evening meal options, including hot sandwiches, wraps and burgers.
Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of the Tim Hortons® franchise in the U.K commented on the opening: “Our fan base has grown considerably since opening our first venue in Northern Ireland in Fountain Street, Belfast in 2018. This has meant that there is a real desire from our customers to provide more accessibility and access to our quality and delicious offering. Our new drive-thru restaurant at The Kennedy Centre gives fans greater convenience to experience our Canadian charm closer to home.

As part of its continued growth in Northern Ireland, Tim Hortons recently announced that it has its eyes set on Newtownards, with a drive-thru restaurant opening in Castlebawn Retail Park. Once the date of opening is announced in the next few months, this will bring the total Tim Hortons restaurants in Belfast to four.
