The Joint Promotion Plan – Costa Daurada Tourism Authority & FEHT

This promotion plan, initiated in 2014 has a fundamental objective to apply part of the resources obtained from the tax on overnight stays in regulated establishments and it is the FEHT in charge of managing it. Thus, for several years now, synergies have been created that have been very important for the Costa Daurada Tourism Authority and the towns of Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, as well as the tourist establishments: hotels, campsites and apartments. For 2021, the plan had a budget of 1.5million euros.

The FEHT, Federacio Empresarial d’Hostaleria i Turisme de Tarragona, brings together the accommodation business sector in the province of Tarragona and its main objective is to meet the needs of professionals and companies in this sector, as well as to promote the wide and varied range of accommodation available in this area. This commercial action is carried out in an exemplary synergy between the business sector and the public sector, which represents a unique collaboration in Catalonia.
