As part of the certification process, enhancements were made throughout the visitor complex, including comprehensive training for all staff members, on-site sensory guidance, designated low sensory areas, and a sensory guide to ensure that autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals can visit with confidence.
Families taking advantage of the September “kids go free” offer will also enjoy the new All Systems Are Go! experience, which launched earlier this year, featuring four-legged cartoon friend, Snoopy, and other beloved Peanuts® characters. The immersive experience features state-of-the-art puppetry, lights and sounds at the transformed Universe Theater sponsored by Northrop Grumman. The Peanuts characters are called by a Launch Director to assist with the next NASA mission – Artemis. Guests can join Snoopy and Woodstock as they train for the mission, test the Orion spacecraft and visit other planets on a sensational, out-of-this-world 20-minute adventure full of history, education and imagination.
