Recently, Coleen Rooney revealed her love of caravanning as she discussed her holidays around the campfire in I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!
Ben Myatt, Show Manager from The Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Show (www.caravanshows.com), which returns to Manchester Central on 16th – 19th January, has shared his tips on how to caravan like a celebrity in 2025.
“Caravanning is such a wonderful institution. It’s the perfect holiday for individuals, couples, friends or families who like to experience new places and see as much of the world as possible.
“And, of course, there are so many options to choose from – from a static caravan enjoyed by the likes of Gemma Collins and Stacey Solomon – to a motorhome loved by cycling champions Laura and Jason Kenney, or a campervan travelled in by Jamie and Jools Oliver. Or, it’s the whole process of building the motorhome yourself, ensuring it fits your lifestyle needs – like Annabel Croft did with her husband.
“Caravanning and motorhoming gives you a sense of freedom that is not often felt with package holidays where you might stay in the same place for a week or two. It’s perfect for quality family time exploring the great outdoors and cosying up each evening with food, drinks and games, knowing that the next day you could drive somewhere completely different to watch the sun rise or set!”
So how can you caravan like a celebrity in 2025?
- Plan celebrity-style activities – book exclusive tours in the area, wellness retreats, glamping picnics or spa treatments at the caravan site or other nearby luxury hotels.
- Upgrade the interior – choose a vehicle with luxurious interiors, such as a high-end kitchen and leather seating and add cosy blankets to create an expensive and hotel-like vibe. With comfort becoming a top priority for buyers and luxury options becoming more popular, a motorhome may be the vehicle for you. EmmBee – exhibitors at The Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Show – have a range of high-end luxury motorhomes worth £200,000+.
- Supplies – fine wines and champagne, yummy snacks and beauty products on hand to make your experience even more enjoyable. Search for local farm shops for quality local produce.
- Additions to the exterior – choose a park with outside areas such as alfresco dining areas, BBQ’s and if possible, why not add an awning to your ‘van for your own personal outside space.
