Disneyland Paris is inviting guests to embark on an all-new adventure with the debut of Disney Princess Cavalcade at Disney Adventure World. Taking place several times a day along the shores of Adventure Bay, the spectacular new year-round experience sees Rapunzel, Moana, Raya and Tiana journey through the park aboard beautifully themed floats before inviting guests to join an interactive celebration inspired by their courage, determination and adventurous spirit.
The adventure begins in front of what will become the immersive world dedicated to the Walt Disney Animation Studios film The Lion King before making its way to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge and returning to its starting point. At the midpoint, the cavalcade sweeps guests into an interactive sequence as the Disney Princesses step down from their floats to unveil their signature adventure-inspired moves.
Moana teaches choreography inspired by traditional Pacific Island dance, while Raya demonstrates movements influenced by martial arts. Alongside them, the Princesses’ adventure companions invite selected guests into the heart of the action, where they can join in the choreography, creating a shared celebration filled with joy, energy and unforgettable memories. More than 18 months of development and no fewer than 287 hours of rehearsals have gone into bringing this new experience to life at Disney Adventure World.

To design the floats, choreography and costumes, the creative teams drew inspiration from the original animated films, as well as the architecture and traditions of the lands that inspired them. The costumes, reflecting the colour palettes of each Disney Princess Character’s world, were imagined by Disneyland Paris’ creative costume team and crafted in France.
Created by a specialist street art company based in Nice, the floats invite guests to immerse themselves in the worlds of the Disney Princesses through faithful recreations of Motunui (Moana), the Heart Palace (Raya), the festive streets of New Orleans (Tiana) and The Snuggly Duckling tavern (Rapunzel). Heihei, Pua, Tuk Tuk, Ray and Pascal – the beloved companions of the Disney Princesses – also appear on the floats, accompanying Moana, Raya, Tiana and Rapunzel on this new adventure.
The teams at Disneyland Paris once again demonstrate their commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, as showcased in the accessories created for the Disney Princesses’ adventure companions. No fewer than 120 metres of fringe were handcrafted, frayed and sewn for Moana’s kites, 900 pieces of fabric were individually cut and sewn to adorn the manes of Raya’s dragons, 24 hand-sculpted and hand-painted feathers decorate the staffs of Tiana’s companions, and 13 sculpted ducks adorn Rapunzel’s float.
As with every great Disney adventure, music plays a starring role in Disney Princess Cavalcade. Two original songs, created especially for the experience and recorded between Nashville and Paris by around 50 musicians, set the rhythm of every performance. Drawing inspiration from iconic Disney Princess themes, the soundtrack combines uplifting lyrics with infectious energy to immerse guests in the adventure.
With the arrival of Disney Princess Cavalcade, Disney Marching Band, led by Minnie Mouse, concludes its run at Disneyland Paris. Minnie will debut a new Victorian-inspired costume and occasionally appear at the West Pavilion for exclusive character meet-and-greet experiences with guests.
