City of Derry Airport will welcome a new route to Edinburgh Airport this summer thanks to the UK’s largest regional airline, Loganair. The new 55-minute direct service between Londonderry and Edinburgh launches 17th May 2022 and will initially operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. During the peak summer months, frequency will increase with additional flights on Thursdays and Saturdays. Operated using a 49-seat Embraer 145 regional jet, the route will see fares starting from £53.99 one-way. The Camping and Caravan Club have destroyed the holiday plans of thousands of staycation holidaymakers by closing nearly a dozen caravan sites right at the beginning of the holiday season in the UK. They have decided to close several sites today Friday the 23rd of July 21, apparently due to staff shortages. This move by the club has left many thousands of holiday plans in ruins.
